The Organic Sunscreen Option

Sunscreen or sun block has SPF or Sun Protector Factor in 6.1, 10, 15, 30, 50, 60 ranges. The SPF used depends on the necessity of the user.  If you will be outdoors most of the day, going to the park, to the office, tending the garden, SPF 50 or 60 is preferable and Best Sunscreen is applied on the face and other exposed parts at least 30 minutes before stepping out into the sun.  The beach combers or sun worshippers, as they are often called,  usually use SPF 60 sunblock because they can stay longer on the water and still receive maximum sun exposure protection.

Some cosmetic consultant recommends that we apply SPF 15 sunblock even if we are staying indoors because there is a low level UV rays getting inside even enclosed structures. In a tropical country, even if it rains, there is still a chance of a UV rays presence so using SPF 20 sun block is suggested.

Sunscreen is also mixed in moisturizer, in make up bases, and even in lip balms – just to show that every part of our bodies need to be protected from the sun’s harmful rays.

Organic sunscreen has fruit and plant extracts infused. The natural ingredients used are hypoallergenic, anti-oxidant, water based even children can use. Aloe vera soothes and protects the skin. Green tea shields skin from unhealthy dark spots and blemish. Watermelon also cools  and refreshes the skin.

There was a time when using sun block was unthinkable and considered luxury. However, with the advent of global warming and green house effect, putting Best Face  Sunscreen is viewed as necessity.
